Meade County Genealogical Society – September Meeting

SCAN0338Land records are an important part of genealogical research.  Besides telling you what land your ancestors may have owned, deeds and other land records are also a potential source of information on family members and relationships and other locations in which your ancestor lived.
Please join us at the September Meeting of the Meade County Genealogical Society.  Our program will be Introduction to Using Land Records for Family History.   This will be a video presented by Crista Cowan who has been with Ancestry since 2004.  The meeting will be on Saturday, September 20, at 2:00 p.m. at the Meade Library Community Room (104 E. West Plains—one block south of the stop light in Meade, use the east door of the building.)  Refreshments will be served.
